GENERAL NOTES ON FIT
for swrve bottoms, we strive to be as true to size as possible. most other companies offer vanity sizing, but with us, a 32 means the waist circumference of the garment is 32". we update our size guides to provide the current sizing per garment frequently.
if you have trousers of which you like the fit, measure the waist and that is the swrve size! to measure the waist, lay them flat and make sure the front and back of the waistband lay evenly across each other, then measure from side to side (fold to fold on the inside), multiply by 2 (there are 2 layers of fabric) and voilà, you’ve got your measurement.
for swrve tops, please note our fit is a slimmer European fit similar to American Apparel's fit
Los Angeles curbside pick up is a free option to come pick up your order at our Headquarters in Glassell Park :) We'll email you the moment your order is packed up with all info needed!
FREE Priority USPS shipping with your $135 order, or $5 shipping under $135.
for other options, shipping cost is determined by the package weight and destination.
for domestic (US) customers USPS Priority is usually the fastest, least expensive option. to get an accurate shipping cost, please add the items to your cart and enter your mailing address at check out, the system will give you an estimate for shipping with various USPS and UPS options.
for international customers we suggest using DHL as it tends to be the best deal. We offer $25 DHL shipping with your minimum $150 order. It will arrive at your doorstep, regardless of where you are in the world, within 5 business days, and you get to track it as it makes its way to you. USPS Priority and First Class Mail may be a bit less expensive, but they have a higher tendency to lose packages. Please note that we are NOT responsible for lost packages! UPS rates tend to be rather exorbitant and you may be faced with a custom brokerage fee NOT included in the shipping rate.
international customers: please note that you may be charged additional customs duty fees at delivery NOT included in the shipping rate. these fees vary widely from country to country and there is nothing we can do to prevent them.
attention Canadian customers! our system will offer you UPS as a shipping option that may seem attractive, but we suggest NOT using UPS for orders going to Canada as they sometimes present you with a separate and additional customs clearance bill (on top of the customs duty) for $50 or more. eek!

Solid daily wear
These pants have been my mainstay for years. They last that long, are comfortable, and look great for as long. There’s a fair amount of stretch, so much so that you could do yoga in them. And they stay as comfortable as single layers go in wet weather.
exceeded my expectations
The transverse pant is quite casual and could be applied to a number of situations. Compared to the 'Durable Cotton Camp pants' these are a bit lighter, more form fitting but still the right amount of loose. The material these trousers use casts a bit of shine compared to the Durable Camp's which are more muted. The transverse is perfect for a night out. I believe these to be swrve's best urban pant for casual outings. How about Transverse fabric with expand-o pockets; could be the best of both worlds? Hoping to grab another pair of the Transverse in blue before they all vanish.
They are a much lighter shade of grey in person. It’s not a bad thing. Hanging in my closet they stand out from the other grey pants. In a weird way they seem like a cooler version of khakis. If khakis aren’t your thing these would be a great addition to a wardrobe.
The Blue is cool
At first I thought the Blue might be a little too bright for me but they get worn as much as the black ones. Just ordered a grey pair and Kurabo indigo jeans!
Only pants my 6th grader will wear!
I have a very active child who goes to a school that emphasizes a lot of outdoor time. These pants are the only pants that get worn, we own 4 pairs. They're perfect on bike rides but also just for going to school. It can feel a bit nuts to pay so much for children's clothes but I think they're worth every penny and are quite affordable when you think about cost per wear. They love the fact that they are stylish, don't make loud swishing sounds when walking, have all that stretch and the diamond gusset, and are water resistant. 2 pairs of the 4 pairs have been in heavy use for nearly 3 years and the knees on them have had some abrasion holes that we patched with technical repair tape from REI. The ones that are a year old still look good as new. We do tend to buy up a size or two and belt and roll the legs to extend the time they can be worn, and it doesn't seem to impair biking either, since the legs are not wide.
