A darker black.

Our black denim pieces are made like traditional denim, which means they have a contrasting warp and weft. To offer a darker black, we overdyed these items to produce a deeper, darker black.

LA has historically had a bustling apparel industry. There is so much incredible infrastructure here for making clothes, including wash and dye houses. We are dyeing these at a local dye house in heart of the fashion district of LA.

The process of overdyeing entails dyeing finished garments (as opposed to fabric or yarn) which results in a product with slight variations in the dye absorption throughout the garment, so each piece is unique.

We really love how these came out and we hope you do too.
