- CUT AND SEWN IN LOS ANGELES
- 9.5 oz Kurabo denim made in JAPAN
- 76% cotton / 24% polyester with mechanical stretch
- high-quality YKK zipper
- stylish regular fit for everyday use
our Kurabo denim jeans are made with a lovely deep indigo 9.5oz denim that has polyester in the fabric to add durability, mechanical stretch to make them comfortable on a bike, barstool, or anywhere else your adventures take you, and minimal shrinkage so that when you wash them, they'll fit as well as when you try them on the first time.
***please note the denim is raw and some color may come off on the first few wearings. don't sit on your friend's white leather couch, you will leave your mark!*** you should be fine after the first wash (we always suggest cold, tumble dry low or hang to extend the life of all your garments)
triple chain stitch on high-stress areas makes the stitching super durable, seamless diamond gusset to keep pressure off sensitive areas.
slight rise in the rear waistband to stay respectable while on the saddle or when crouching.

*note: we hem each of these jeans per order! with that in mind it may take a couple extra days to receive.
GENERAL NOTES ON FIT
for swrve bottoms, we strive to be as true to size as possible. most other companies offer vanity sizing, but with us, a 32 means the waist circumference of the garment is 32". we update our size guides to provide the current sizing per garment frequently.
if you have trousers of which you like the fit, measure the waist and that is the swrve size! to measure the waist, lay them flat and make sure the front and back of the waistband lay evenly across each other, then measure from side to side (fold to fold on the inside), multiply by 2 (there are 2 layers of fabric) and voilà, you’ve got your measurement.
for swrve tops, please note our fit is a slimmer European fit similar to American Apparel's fit
Los Angeles curbside pick up is a free option to come pick up your order at our Headquarters in Glassell Park :) We'll email you the moment your order is packed up with all info needed!
FREE Priority USPS shipping with your $135 order, or $5 shipping under $135.
for other options, shipping cost is determined by the package weight and destination.
for domestic (US) customers USPS Priority is usually the fastest, least expensive option. to get an accurate shipping cost, please add the items to your cart and enter your mailing address at check out, the system will give you an estimate for shipping with various USPS and UPS options.
for international customers we suggest using DHL as it tends to be the best deal. We offer $25 DHL shipping with your minimum $150 order. It will arrive at your doorstep, regardless of where you are in the world, within 5 business days, and you get to track it as it makes its way to you. USPS Priority and First Class Mail may be a bit less expensive, but they have a higher tendency to lose packages. Please note that we are NOT responsible for lost packages! UPS rates tend to be rather exorbitant and you may be faced with a custom brokerage fee NOT included in the shipping rate.
international customers: please note that you may be charged additional customs duty fees at delivery NOT included in the shipping rate. these fees vary widely from country to country and there is nothing we can do to prevent them.
attention Canadian customers! our system will offer you UPS as a shipping option that may seem attractive, but we suggest NOT using UPS for orders going to Canada as they sometimes present you with a separate and additional customs clearance bill (on top of the customs duty) for $50 or more. eek!

High fashion tactical pants
Tired of wearing pleated pants at 5* restaurants? Does your raw denim leave “cold branding” marks on your tummy after prolonged postures of leisure? Look no further than these raw jeans with just the right amount of plastic. Simultaneously svelte and roomy, these pants toe the typical Swrve line by somehow gloving your waist and giving you TOTAL range of motion without looking making you look anything like a SF longboard bomber. Take these pants along for all your square functions and lean on the ‘pencil holders’ to keep your glass from clinking into your plastic until you’re out of sensory range from anyone wearing ironed banana republic jeans. There’s nothing more confidence boosting than feeling free to express yourself through movement and Swrve has the complete kit. I’m happiest when I’m covered from head to toe in exclusively in their garb- and from one purist to another- they don’t make underwear, and I think that’s on purpose.
Mr Shiny Pants
Loving the Kurabo Indigo denim. Surprised to discover that they are quite shiny in direct light, but also surprised to discover that I don't mind that! Let's call it a classy sheen. They just look good. Great quality fabric, love the drape. I got the regular fit, which hits a nice balance of being flattering without being revealing or too much youthful try-hard on my late-middle-age athleticish body. Nice comfortable stretch, more than I expected, I thought they would be a lot more restrictive than my Swrve Cordura jeans, but they are not. My sweat-gushing body is very sensitive to the lack of breathability of synthetic fibres. The 24% polyester in these is certainly noticeable for me on warm days, but not a deal-breaker. All-in-all, they continue to be the first pants I think I would like to wear on any given day.
The fabric is comfortable, the color is a deep rich dark blue which is really cool and which stands out among other denim I own. I love the fit for my 150 mile a week cycling thighs. They are easy to move in and comfortable. These have become my weekend jeans because they feel too nice to wear to work. I have discovered how nice it is to wear quality denim and I love that these were made to stand up to the demands of the lifestyle of cyclists. A few months and a few hundred miles in I am really happy. Would definitely buy again.
These jeans look and feel great. I can bike in them comfortably and I often wear them just walking around. The denim is a little on the heavy side, so they can get warm in the summer but they're not too warm for me in ~75F weather. The dye does a wear a bit faster than 'cooked denim.' I have found that the dye could rub off onto other fabrics/surfaces the first few times I wore them. I am 5'11" and ~175 lbs (I only bike ~10 miles a week so I don't have big cyclist quads/thighs). I ordered 34x34 size and they fit comfortably. I don't need to wear a belt with them, but prefer to do so. I highly recommend these jeans.
My "night on the town" jeans.
The Kurabo INDIGO denim makes these jeans my "night on the town" jeans. I have the black CORDURA® regular jeans (which I love) but these feel a bit fancier and nicer than the CORDURA® regular jeans. It's nice to have more every-day pair and a pair I can were when I want to feel a little more formal (but not formal enough for dress pants). I dig the raw denim feel and look. I'm super happy!
